Asha running through woods. Last photo she has gone. Still action shots. Loud panting heard alongside the sound of faint flicking through a book.
BLACK SCREEN. TITLE 'GLITCH'
INT. BEDROOM. AFTERNOON
Diegetic sounds.
LOW (ISH) ANGLE. WORMS EYE VIEW. CAMERA PLACED IN CORNER OF ROOM. OVER THE SHOULDER.
BCU REVERSE ZOOM TO CU of Jodie's face.
Jodie folding her daughters clothes, placing them carefully onto the bed in piles.
Cuts to door opening.
CU OF THEO WALKING IN WITH A CUP OF TEA, PLACING IN ONTO THE DESK.
THEO
Have this then we'll head off.
MCU PLACING TEA ON COASTER.
MCU
JODIE
(sighs)
THEO
(sound of Jodie sipping the tea.)
ECU OF JODIES LIPS
Don't worry, we'll find her. It's only been 5 weeks.
(there is a slight hesitation before he repeats "we'll" find her
ECU OF STEAM COMING OUT OF THE MUG.
(Jodie takes a deep breath)
JODIE
We can't keep looking, its done nothing.
THEO
I know, but what else do we do. There is nothing else mum, all we can do is look.
(emphasis on can, sense of frustration.)
Jodie puts down the mug and looks at Theo.
EXT. BEDROOM. AFTERNOON.
INT. WOODS. LATE AFTERNOON.
JODIE
ASHA!
(expression shown clearly, shouting. )
(she raises her arms, sticking a missing girl poster on a tree.)
CAMERA FOLLOWS ARM ACROSS SHOULDER ONTO THE POSTER. REVERSE ZOOM FROM POSTER TO EXL OF WOOD
Pause.
CAMERA SHAKES QUICKLY, CUTTING TO A VERY HIGH ANGLE OF A FOOT STEPPING ON A STICK. PULL FOCUS.
THEO
We'll find her don't worry.
OTS-2-STOP. SHOWS BACK OF THEO, FRONT OF JODIE.
Pause. 
OTS OF THEO, JODIE SEEN IN BACKGROUND WALKING AWAY FOR A COUPLE PACES.
THEO
She can't have just vanished.
Theo slowly walkings towards her
CAMERA FOLLOWS. JUST ABOVE EYE LEVEL.
EYE LEVEL. MCU. TALKING HEADS.
THEO
It's impossible. We all know it's impossible. Mum, they'll track her. Trust me.
JODIE
But surely they would have found her by now.
(hands shaking anxiously)
Pause.
JODIE
It's been 5 weeks..
(heads hangs down, gazing into the floor.)
Theo watches her.
JODIE
I just don't get how they haven't found her. How? How haven't they? Or..
She looks up at Theo, with a glow.
PULL FOCUS. MS AS TURNS TO THEO.
JODIE
Why haven't they?

    Good planning. Some of your camera description is a little confusing. Can it be 'worm's eye' and 'over the shoulder'?

A major problem I experienced when editing was the length of my production. Only reaching around one minute, I decided to write an extra scene to fit in between my other two This scene features two detectives; Officer 1 (O1) and Officer 2 (O2), discussing the case. I tried to keep the narrative vague, so enigma's would be created to enhance the audience. I filmed the scene in my media classroom, selecting certain angles and shots to make the room look less like a classroom and more like an office. Officer 1 and Officer 2. O2 is O1’s boss. O1 answers directly to him. O2 also works tightly with their offices CI (so has a large amount authority). O2 is sarcastic and witty. Very intelligent. My name is Saskia Malhotra, I am 17 years old and am attending Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge where I am studying Media, English Combined and Psychology. This blog is for my A-Level Media coursework. The task we have been set is to create an audio-visual sequence from a television programme and associated print materials to promote the same programme.
